3pm - Pat Russo's NY Bulldogs vs Mike Carver's Brooklyn Tigers. Not only were the Tigers missing their manager who was on a wine tasting tour in Italy but they were also missing pitcher Paul Martino who is injured. So Bruce Red Bull Dostal took the mound and did a credible job. The Tigers took an early lead scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. The Tigers had 6 hits including doubles from Frank McNally and rookie Dave Reiss. After 5 innings the Tigers still led 5-0. But that changed when the Bulldogs took the lead with 7 runs in the top of the 6th inning when they ripped off 9 consecutive hits off Hadar Sieradzky...including doubles from Bob Fass and Temple Houston. Going into the bottom of the 7th the Bulldogs led 7-5. The Tigers rallied...rookie Dave Reiss led off with a double to right with 1 out Kevin Zabransky sac'd in Dave Reiss...but that was it. The Bulldogs win 7-6.
