Sunday April 30th 5:30 pm - Ben Gabriel's Tampa Bay Bandits vs Pat Russo's NY Bulldogs - Headline These Dogs should be neutered. With the score tied 2-2 in the 1st inning the dogs took the lead with 3 runs in the 3bbrd. Sanzone and Dostal singled then a double from Tarnoff and a single by Bruno scored the 3 runs. The Bandits surprised the Dogs with 6 runs in the 4th to take the lead 8-5. It started with singles by Halpin, Gabriel & Blicht. Marty Eagan doubled in a couple of Runs then later Brad Botelho, Kornbluh & Larry Friedman knocked in the go ahead runs. The Dogs chipped away with 2 run both the 5th and 6tn innings to retake the lead 9-8. Thanks to some great defense from a couple of veterans the NJ Bulldogs held on to stay undefeated. showing off his rocket arm Rich Heim at 2nd helped turn double plays in both the 6th and 7th innings. But the play of the game came from Temple Houston. In the bottom of the 6th with a runner on base Tampa Bay rookie Ryan Coletti hit a line drive to right that looked like it might tie the game. But Temple made an amazing diving catch...going horizontal to his right to end the inning. The Dogs had 20 hit for a 500 Dostal, Fass & Tarnoff had 3 hits each.
