The Oven Runs Out Of Gas but Angelo's Has Plenty of Cass. Michael Angleo's famous painting may need to be renamed after this season to the "2nd Coming of Brian Cass". This season Brian Cass has been ripping the cover off the ball and tonight was no exception. Brian was a meer 5-5 with 3 RBI's, putting him one behind Mike Metz on the leader board for hits, and helping Michael Angelo's even their record to 8-8, tie with Rail's for the final playoff spot. Brick 46 was cooking the first two innings as they fired up 12 hits and logged in 8 runs to take a 8-7 lead after two. But the oven smoked out in the 3rd as Jon Mach singled to lead of the inning, Abe Heller doubled to tie the score and Cliff Berliner put Angleo's on top for good with a single. Jon Mach and Angleo's D limited Brick to only 8 more hits the rest of the game. Jon Also helped out at the plate tonight with a 4-4 outing and he is now leading the league in "TREND" with a + 223. Dave Plishka was 4-5 and the rest of the Angelo's squad combined for 30 hits. Brick's John Boeckel and Ryan Smith were both 4-4 but they couldn't keep Angleo's from rounding the bases in this 22-9 blow out.
