D'Jais leave Leqqett's with their heads in the sand, in this 19-4 rout. The league's best lineup on paper proved to be the best lineup on opening day in this D'Jais 19-4 thrashing over Leqqetts Sand Bar. Manager & draft specialist Dave Auerbach connected for the first grand slam of the season. D'Jais out hit Leqqett's 21-12 with Matt Picon(3-3) leading off, Mark Spotto (2-4) batting 2nd, Dave Auerbach (2-4 and 4 RBI's) 3rd and Jason Crimmins (2-3) batting cleanup. Brad Bennis bats 5th and if that's not enough to scare any pitcher, Mr May, Nick Adams (2-2) follows Brad in the 6th hole. Even the 13th batter, Sal Hakimi, was 3-3 on the day. So don't be fooled by D'Jais old geezer hats and throw them meatballs, these guys will beat you with their bats not their hats. Lee Kornbluh led Leqqett's offensive attack, going 2-2 with a double. Jeff Tarlowe was 2-2 and Lance Zacker was 2-3 with 2 RBI's.
