Parker House Over Rooney's On an 8th Inning Tarnoff Walkoff. Every game is big now as the season winds down. One win can mean the difference between being in 4th place or out of the playoffs. Parker House got the early lead in this one after Rooney's was able to plate one run in the 1st on an RBI single by Tony Garrett. Parker House uses two doubles in the bottom, one by Jason Abfier off the fence in right and the other by Dave Schachman that scored two runs. Levi Heninger sacked in the 3rd run, Parker House is up 3-1. Neither team scores till the bottom of the 4th when Dave Schachman singled, Derek Lynn singled and Len Tarnoff knocked in a run with a two out single. After 4 it's Parker House up 4-1. Rooney's picks up 2 in the 5th when Eric Stivers and Kevin Zabransky Jr both single and with 2 outs Brad Hartung walks. Adam Steckleman, the masked first baseman, singled to score both runs. Parker House 4 Rooney's 3. in the 6th Parker House explodes for 3 more after Derek Lynn and Levi both single and the hot Jason Hamberger show us the beef, as he blasts a double off the fence in center. Len Tarnoff comes up big again with another 2 out RBI single. Parker House is up 7-3 after 6. Looks like it's over right? Wrong. With Jon Mach reinjuring his leg, Parker House brings in Dave Schachman for the save. With one out in the top of the 7th Rooney's gets a big break when Kevin JR reaches on error for the 2nd time. Rich Cobuzio(2-3) draws a walk, Greg George(2-3) singled to load the bases. Brad Hartung reaches on error and both Adam Steckleman and Tony Garrett(3-4) both single to tie the score. In the bottom of the 8th Parker House draws a lead off walk. With one out Jason Hamberger gets a big single to move the winning run to 2nd. Len Tarnoff singles for the 3rd time, this time it's the game winner, Parker House wins 8-7.
