The Leopards Hang 10 in the 3rd. Lusty Leopards need a win today and a few MacLaren's losses to take 2nd place and a first round playoff bye. Bob Pezzuti started the 1st with a walk and scored on a single by Dave Reiss. The Leopards hit the gaps in the bottom of the 1st with two out Keith Blicht(4-4) tripled, Brad Bennis(4-4) hit an infield single holding Keith at 3rd. Ryan Coletti doubled to score Keith then David Bornstein tripled to center scoring two more. Leopards are up 3-1. The Clams at the bottom of the barrel get things going in the 2nd when Mike Carver singled, Lee Kornbluh singled and sub Brian Cass singled to load the bases. Bob Pezzuti hits a sac fly and David Auerbach singled in another run to tie the game 3-3. Casey Nix breaks the tie with a single and Dave Reiss also singles in run and the Clams are up 5-3. But the Leopards attack in the bottom of the third when Keith Blick singled, Brad Bennis singled, Ryan Coletti(3-4) doubled again, David Bornstein(3-4) singled, Temple Houston singled in two, John Machiski singled, Clay Petry doubled and after two outs Keith Blicht triples again before Brad Bennis launches a homerun. Ryan Coletti singles, David Bornstein doubles and the Leopards take a commanding 13-5 lead and hang on to win 13-7. Two Leopards were perfect at the plate today, Keith Blicht going 4-4 with 2 triples and Brad Bennis with 3 singles and a homerun. Ryan Coletti and David Bornstein were 3-4. For the Clams, Dave Auerbach and Dave Reiss were both 3-4.
