The Clams Break Out of their Shell in the 6th. Alibi Room's Cliff Neukrug was pitching a 3 hit shutout till the bottom of the 6th. Commish Lee Kornbluh finally turned up the heat with a leadoff single to left. Followed by Bob Pezzuti's single, then rookie Dave Reiss got the Clams on the board with a double. Manager Jay Glickson put the Clams on top with a single that scored 2 while John Boeckel finally impressed his kids with a triple over the left fielder's head. Deron Green capped off the shelling with a two out RBI single up the middle and the Clams hold on to win 5-2. Joel Orris led Alibi Room with a 3-4 night while shortstop George Yost was 2-3 with an RBI to go with his terrific fielding at short. Bob Pezzuti anchored the Clams in the field with some key scoops at first.
