Laden's 2 Out, 2 Run Single Keeps the Playaz Rolling. The Playaz Club waited till the 5th inning to finally get on the scoreboard. Trailing 1-0 and dodging two potentially big Moe's innings (bases loaded 1 out and 1st and 2nd no outs) the Playaz finally rallied after Don Trifari reached on error and Steve DeBlasio singled, John Spielberger sacs in Don to tie the game at 1-1. The the hits come, Shaun Spielberger(3-3), Barry Davis, Austin Tarlowe, and Ralph Aiello all singled plating 2 more runs. Jeff Tarlowe sacs in Barry and with two outs Jim Laden's single to left scored two big runs and the Playaz take a 6-1 lead. Moe's threatens again after James Morris singles and moves to 3rd on Matt Eisenberg's single, but again Moe's can't find a way to score. In the 6th the Playaz hot streak continues when the speedy Jake Spielberger turns a single into a double, Eric Rosenberg singles in Jake, Alex Conklin is intentionally walked, Don Trifari doubles in two, John Spielberger singles in a run, Shaun (also speedy) Spielberger singles and Barry Davis Sacs in John for an 11-1 lead. Moe's answers back in the bottom of the 6th with 5 runs of their own when Joe Gianforte singled, Ben Gabriel singled, "where's" Wally Kamienski doubles off the fense, Jim Morris singled in two , Steve Riback singled and RJ Leonard singles in the 5th run, Playaz lead is cut to 11-6. But 6 straight outs ends the game and the Playaz even their series with Moe's to 1-1 with this 11-6 win.
