Michael Angelo's Keeps Rolling With 12-4 Playoff Win. After their big Wolford Cup come from behind victory last week, Michael Angelo's carries that momentum into the first round of the playoffs. Dave Plishka started the game with a walk, Jason Abfier(3-2) singled moving David to third. Dave scored on a fielder's choice and Angelo's is up 1-0. Columbia Inn is missing their young gun Michael Cobuzio but they strike for 2 after Jonathan Drillings(2-3) singled, Rick Beyer(2-3) singled and somehow Jonathan scored from first and Rick ended up on third. David Drillings sacked in Rick and Columbia grabs the lead 2-1. Neither team scored in the 2nd. Angelos' Cliff Berliner(2-3) singled with one out in the 3rd, Dave Plishka(2-3) doubled, Jason Abfier singled in Cliff, Bob Blishka reached on a fielder's choice but nobody was out. Keith Blicht singled, Brian Cass sacks in a run and Mike Citron(3-3) singled in another and Michael Angelo's jumps up 5-2. Rich Cobuzio doubled to start the bottom of the 3rd and scored on a single by Rick Beyer(2-3). Angelo's still leads 5-3 and that's as close as it got for Columbia Inn. Neither team scored again till the 6th when Michael Angelo's pulls ahead with 5 more runs. With one out Bob Plishka reached on error, Keith Blicht singled, Brian Cass singled in Bob, Mike Citron singled, Rich Citron singled in Keith, Jon Mach singled to score another, then another error plated the 5th run. Angelo's is up 10-3 and go on to win 12-4.
