Rail's Gets Back On Track in 3-2 Win Over Tito's Tito's Burritos ran out of gas today as Rail's Pitcher Bruce Dostal limits them to just 9 hits and 2 runs. Shaun Spielberger got things started for Tito's with a lead off single, Mark Davis singled moving Shaun to third, then Clay Petry sacked in Shaun but that was all. Tito's is up 1-0. Rail's comes right back in the bottom when Pat McNamara singled with one out, moved to second on a single by John Sanzone and with two outs Jared Bruno delivered run scoring single to left. Score tied 1-1. Neither team scored again till the 4th when Tito's finally turned the lineup over and Shaun Spielberger singled with one out, then after a fielder's choice Clay Petry didn't get anything to hit and was intentionally walked. John Spielberger singles to give Tito's a 2-1 lead which didn't last long. In the bottom of the 4th John Sanzone singled, Bruce Dostal singled and Jared Bruno does it again with his second RBI single, tying the game 2-2. Christian Hansen then follows with a sac fly scoring Bruce and giving Rail's their first lead 3-2. That turned out to be a big run as neither team scored the rest of the game. For Tito's Kevin Petry was 2-2 and Shaun Spielberger was 2-3 on the day. For Rail's Jared Bruno got the big hits going 2-3 with two RBI's. Both teams had players who only batted twice in this low scoring contest. Tito's loss means that Puleo's Brick Oven is the only undefeated team left.
