RJ Leonard Dishes Out a 7th Inning 3 Run Homerun To Lift Puleo's over Olde Towne 14-12 In a back and forth game Puleo's Brick Oven finds themselves trailing in the top of the 7th 12-11. The first two batters reached on errors, setting the stage for RJ Leonard who picked the perfect time for his first homerun of the season. Olde Towne Deli was playing short handed again and Brian Cass and Dave Auerbach started out as subs until Jon Weiner showed up in the 5th. In the top of the 5th Mark Spotto puts Puleo's up 10-8 with his first LVC GRAND SLAM. In the bottom of the 5th Olde Towne answers back after Lee Kornbluh works a leadoff walk, sub Brian Cass singled bringing up Jon Weiner for his first atbat of the game. Jon singled to load the bases for Greg George who singles in two runs to tie the score. Mike Metz doubled scoring two more and Olde Towne is back up 12-10. Puleo's manages to plate one run in the top of the 6th when Dave Picon walked with two outs, Chuck Puleo reaches on error and Eric Rosenberg singles in Dave. Puleo's is still trailing by one 12-11. Olde Towne fails to score in the bottom of the 6th setting the table for RJ's 3 run, game winning, blast.
