Games are Back and so is the Schach. Harrigans jumped out to a big 8-0 lead after 2, sparked by some solid hitting by Dave Schachman who was 4-4 with 4 runs scored. Rails was flat their first time through the order as they only managed 3 hits in 4 scoreless innings. Brian Quinn singled in the bottom of the 2nd for Harriagan's, Rick DelGizzi singled, Mario Leitao singled to load the bases with no outs. Ben Alkin scored a run on a fielder's choice, Dave Schach-attack singled in another. With two outs Ralph Avallone drew a walk to load the bases for Brad Bennis who broke the game open with a grandslam. Harrigan's is up 8-0. Rails finally gets on the scoreboard when Jared Bruno hit a solo homer in the 5th, then trailing 14-1 they finally get back on track after manager Mike Bedell led off with a single, a big error brought up the top of the order with one out. Brian Godau doubled in a run and then Kyle Godau continues to impress with an inside the park, 3 run homer. Bruce Dostal doubled, Bob Fass doubled and Jared Bruno homered for the 2nd time, this one a 3 run shot. Rails made it interesting putting up 8 runs but the Rail's rally came up short.
