Cafaro and Glickson Spell Double Trouble for Kabab. Kabab Paradise was up 4-2 at the end of the 4th before Brick 46 turned up the heat. Jay Glickson doubled home John Boeckel in the first to give Brick a 1-0 lead. In the bottom, Kabab's Ben Gabriel put up 2 runs with a homerun after Frank McNally doubled. Without Ryan Smith in the lineup, the Brick struggled to score. Their 2nd run was another unearned run to lead off the 4th. Kabab managed a run in the 3rd after Jeff Brooks and Frank McNally doubled, then snuck in another in the 4th after Mike Sabet(2-2) singled and scored on a fielder's choice by Sameer Sawe. But the Brick's fired up the oven in the 5th after Rick Fardo singled with one out. Jared Bornstein(3-4) singled, Mike Carver doubled in a run, Matt Goodstein walked, John Boeckel tied it with a fielder's choice. Then with two outs Dave Bornstein gave Brick 46 a one run lead before Jay Glickson connects for his 2nd double of the game, Lou Coppa singled, an error keeps the inning going and Mike Cafaro connects for his 2nd double, Matt Eisenberg tripled and Brick 46 is up 11-4. Bob Vogt, fresh off his All Star win, tripled in a run for Kabab in the bottom of the 5th and Mike Sabet sacked in Bob but the Kabab's are well done as Brick puts up 14 more in the 6th. Jay Glickson and Mike Carafo both hit their 3rd double of the game, Ken O'Brien, Mike Carver, David Bornstein and Jared Bornstein also doubled in the inning as Brick 46 turns a close game into a 6 inning mercy.
