Marty Eagan and the Station Take Out Kabab's With Big 5th Inning. With Donnie Jr away for the weekend Marty Eagan had to step in and fill some pretty big shoes. Batting cleanup Marty sticks Kabab for 5 Ribbies on a 4-5 night including 3 RBI's in the big 5th inning after the Station was trailing 6-4. Kabab jumped out to a 5-1 lead after two with some clutch hitting by Frank McNally(4-5), Bob Vogt(4-5) Mike Sabet. Adam Raiken's big scoop at 2nd and Bobby Vogt flawless game at short kept Kabab sizzling till the mushrooms fell off the skewer in the 5th. Steve Horowitz had a great game for the Station till the end of the 5th when he went out with a hammy injury and the Station had to pick up another Koonjy sub. Trailing 6-4 in the 5th the Station tuned in for 13 runs that began with a walk to Don Sr, his second 4 pitch walk, earning him a free ride to second. Marty Eagan wasted no time tying the score after he doubled home Don and then scored on Steve Horowitz's second double of the night. The doubles continued with Jared Kruger (back from his knee injury) and the big blow by Mike Levine that sailed over the left fielder's head to score Jared. Jim Morris singled, Ralph Aiello singled, Don Trifari singled, Marty Eagan scored two with his 2nd hit of the inning. Jared singled again, Mike Levine singled, sub Brian Koonjy singled followed by newly added sub Mike Koonjy's single and the final two runs scored on a single by Jim Morris. The Station is up 17-7 and finish up with a 17-11 win.
