The Station Is Playing Some Hot Tunes in 16-4 Win. In 97 degree heat the Station got the hot bats going in the 1st with 8 runs. Speedy Dave Richmond beat out an infield single and Jared Kruger(3-3) walked to bring up Don Jr. Don Jr(3-4) singled to right and Don Sr(4-4) followed with a single to score the first run. With one out Marty Eagan singled putting up two more, the next run scored on an error and Ralph Aiello(3-4) singled in run number 5. Andy Reiser walked, then with two outs Matt Reynders drilled a line drive up the middle to score another. Dave Richmond singled in run number 7 and Jared Kruger singled in run #8 to bring up Don Jr with the bases loaded. Don lines a ball to right that is stabbed by Jake Tarnoff for the 3rd out. Austin Tarlowe (3-3) was the hot Red Barn batter today. He led of the 2nd with a double and scored on a single by Rob Thomas. The Station doesn't score in the 2nd and the Barn makes it interesting in the 3rd after an out and two errors Jake Tarnoff singles to load the bases for Brian Koonjy. Brian works a walk to score a run, Len Tarnoff singles in another but a double play ends the rally with the Station up 8-3. The Station comes up empty again in the 3rd and Austin Tarlowe leads off with another double. Mike Koonjy walked and a fielder's choice scores another Red Barn run. The Station is up 8-4. Jared Kruger singles in the bottom of the 4th, Don Jr doubles in the courts, Don Sr follow with a double to score two, Lance Zacker singled off the glove of the 3rd baseman, Marty Eagan stays hot with a single to score Don Sr, Ralph Aiello singled to score another and Andy Reiser also singled in a 5th run. Then Matt Reynders hits into a FC for the last run, the Station is up 14-4 and goes on to win 16-4. Austin Tarlowe had a triple 2b for Red Barn going 3-3 with 2 doubles in the loss.
