Brian Koonjy lofts Two Dingers in Red Barn's 23-5 Rout. <\strong> Red Barn exploded for 23 runs off 24 hits including two bombs by lefty Brian Koonjy (4-5 6 RBI's). In the top of the 1st with two outs, Len Tarnoff doubles in the first two Red Barn runs. Kabab picks up a run when Jason Crimmins walked, Dave Auerbach singled, Frank McNally walked to load the bases and Greg Kohn sacked in Jason. At the end of 1 Red Barn leads 2-1. In the top of the second Red Barn took advantage of several Kabobbles plus singles by Chris Koonjy and super sub Dave Plishka's before manager Nick Adams took advantage when his single drove in two runs. Then Red Barn let the horses out when Brian Koonjy smacked his second HR of the season over the right center fence to put the Barn up 8-1. In the third the Barn's Len Tarnoff, Austin Tarlowe, Mike Koonjy and Chris Koonjy combine for 4 straight doubles, a few singles, some more Kabobbles then led to 8 more runs. Kabab scored three in the third when an error and 2nd straight walk to Jason Crimmins set up Dave Auerbach for a 3 run HR, his first of the season. But the Barn keep scoring and even up their record at 1-1 with an easy 23-5 win. For Kabab Jason Crimmins had 3 walks, Frank McNally was walked twice and Dave Auerbach was 2-3 with 4 RBI's while Brian Koonjy gets the gold chain for Red Barn with 4 hits, two homeruns and 6 RBI's. Jim Halpin, Rob Thomas, Len Tarnoff, Mike Koonjy and super sub David Plishka all had 3 hits.
