Burritos Get Rolled by Michael Angelo's 23-8. David Plishka's 2 doubles, triple and 4 RBI's helped Michael Angelo's slay the goliath Burritos in the semi finals of the Wolford Cup. Angelo's batted first and with one out David Plishka tripled to right center, then scored with two outs on a single by Keith Blicht. Brian Cass singled and Keith scored on an error. Angelo's is up 2-0. The Burrito's bite back in the bottom as Shaun Spielberger singled, Mark Davis(5-5) singled, then Clay Petry banged a homer to left center to give Tito's a 3-2 lead. In the 2nd Jason Abfier led off with a single, Jon Mach (2-3, 4 RBI's) singled before Ron Liebowitz singled to tie the game at 3. With one out Dean Sotitle singled to load the bases for Jeff Axelrad who walked in the go ahead run. Michael Angelo's David comes up with the bases loaded and doubles in two more runs in the gap in left center. Bob Plishka singled to score another and Keith Blicht drove home David with a fielder's choice. Angelo's is up 8-3. They put up 2 more in the 3rd after the Citron's, Mike and Rich combined for a double and triple respectively. Jon Mach sacs home Rich for a 10-3 Angelo's lead. Tito's managed one in the 4th after Shaun Spielberger singled, Mark Davis doubled, then a double Petry walk, Clay first to load the bases, then Kevin to walk home a run, Angelo's is up 10-4. In the 5th Angelo's put up 4 runs on only 1 hit. This was just the beginning of many strange happening on the day. In the inning there was an error and 4 walks before Ron Liebowitz dropped a 2 run double into the courts to put Angelo's up 15-4. Angelo's adds 8 more in the 6th and the Burritos are well, done with the final score of 23-8.
