Parker House Finally Plays Another Game but D'Jais is Spot On in 8-6 Win. After many rainouts Parker House is glad to be back on the field but shows some rust the first 4 innings putting up zero runs. Jon Mach is able to keep D'Jais power hitters in the park but D'Jais Mark Spotto(3-3) was on all day, he singled, doubled and tripled in a run. D'Jais put up 6 in the first two innings and added 2 more in the 3rd. Oddly, Brad Bennis was the only other D'Jais player to collect two hits and and Jon held D'Jais to only 11 hits overall. Trailing 8-0 in the 5th Parker House manager Rob Thomas finally got things started with a lead off single. Matt Eisenberg singled and after an error the bases were loaded for lead off batter Jason Abfier. Jason knocked in a run with a Fielder's Choice that almost turned into a double play, 3rd to home. Ralph Avallone singled in a run, Dave Schachman singled in another. Len Tarnoff singled in a final run and Parker House cuts the lead to 8-5. D'Jais bats go cold and Parker House starts another rally in the top of the 7th afer Jason Benson got on with an error. Jason Abfier singled and Ralph Avallone scores a run on a Fielder's Choice but the next two batters (3 and 4) hit deep flyouts to end the threat. D'Jais holds on 8-6.
