Leqqett's Bottom is Tops in 12-9 Upset of D;Jais. D'Jais was a little short handed tonight but they had a very solid 9. While Leqqett's was batting a full 13 guys. So it looked like D'Jais might be putting up some big numbers at the plate. Instead Lee Kornbluh and the Leqqett's D limit D'Jais sticks to only 13 hits while racking up 23 hits of their own. Leqqett's bottom half, Barry Davis(3-3), Ken Horan(2-3), Austin Tarlowe(1-3), Jeff Tarlowe(2-3), Temple Houston(2-3) and Danny Giordano(2-3) combined for 12 of Leqqett's 23 hits and 7 of their 12 RBI's. Leqqett's picked up 3 runs in the first on back to back triples by Rob Gulbert and John Petrozzino who hit a wire shot. Dylan Tarlowe singled in another run and Barry Davis pushed across run number 3. With the short lineup and all the sticks, D'Jais never turned the lineup over, trailing the entire game. Leqqett's had a big 5 run 6th after Joe Giordano led off with a triple follow by 6 bottom of the order hits including a 2 RBI double by Temple Houston. Mark Spotto and Dave Auerbach had their typical 3-4 night for D'Jais but the rest of the team was a little flat. With the win Leqqett's continues their impressive move up the standings and flips with D'Jais into the #4 spot.
