Not This Time, Parker House Hangs on for 15-11 Win. The Irish ran out of luck tonight as Parker House puts up 8 runs with a big 6th inning rally. Parker House was up early after Derek Lynn(3-3) connected for his first LVC homer in the 1st, a 2 run shot. But the Irish Pub put two runs up in the 2nd while Parker House went cold. Then another 3 runs in the 3rd when Rick Beyer doubled with the bases loaded, putting the Irish up 5-3. Parker House added one in the 4th on a single by Derek Lynn but the Irish doubled up with two doubles by Al Puleo and Marty Eagen and a single by Gary Drillings to take a 7-4 lead to the 6th. Parker House 8 (ate) in the 6th, they started with a Hamberger and ended with a Big Mac. Jason Hamberger singled followed by singles from Jake Tarnoff, Dave Sachachman(4-4), Levi Heninger(3-4), Derek Lynn was walked. Then Len Tarnoff singled in 2 to put Parker House back on top. Matt Eisenberg tripled in another and Rob Thomas surprised the outfield with a double to the fence. Jon Mach singled and Parker House was up 12-7. But the Irish came right back in the bottom on singles by Keith Blicht, Al Puleo, Marty Eagen, Rick Delgizzi and Gary Drillings to cut the lead to 1, 12-11. The Irish Pub had the top of the order coming up the next inning and Parker House needed to put up some more runs. With two outs, Ralph Avallone walked, then Dave Schachman singled and Levi Heninger(3-4) singled in one. Derek Lynn singled in another for his 4th RBI and Len Tarnoff got another big hit to score a 3rd run. Parker House put up 3 more, all with two outs. The Irish Pub got a break and got their first batter on with an error. But Jon Mach made a stellar play on a hard rip up the middle, knocking it down and giving a blind backhand flip to 2nd for the out. They hang on to win this one 15-12.
