Steve Horo-Hits and Maynard's Close the Pub Early 19-4 in the 5th. Maynard's continues to impress with the bat. Last game it was 30 hits, tonight they had 20 in just 4 innings. Steve Horowitz was 3-3 with a homer (the kind where you have to run) and almost every Maynard's batter had at least 2 hits, except for Brian Cass who was leading the team in hitting. Al Puleo was not pitching tonight for the Irish and they started off the first inning with 4 walks from two different pitchers. After the 1st inning was over Maynards already had a 9-0 lead. Not much more to say about this one, the top 6 batters for the Irish were 2-13 combined. Gary Drillings was 2-2 for the Irish Pub in the loss.
