Tarnoff lifts Parker House Over BAR A 9-8 . Len Tarnoff's 2 out single in the top of the 7th with Parker House trailing 8-7 plated the tying and go ahead runs. This the the 3rd game in a row where Len has come up with the big hits when Parker House needed them. A record 11 fans watched on the LVC TV network. Parker House took a quick 6-0 lead in the first 2 innings but didn't score again till the top of the 7th, trailing by 2. BAR A out hit Parker House 18 to 12 but left 8 runners on base. BAR A had a big 6th inning, trailing 6-4 Mike Levine sparked the team with a lead-off single. Pete DeFrank singled, and Ralph Fariello singled to load the bases. Jay Glickson gave BAR A the lead with a double (scored as a triple). On the throw home the ball hit the backstop and rolled down the first baseline and Jay was able to sneak home. BAR A goes up 8-6. In the top of the 7th the first 2 Parker House batters made outs. With 2 outs and nobody on Jason Abfier singled. Dave Schachman and Ralph Avallone both singled and Ralph moved up to 2nd on a throw home to put the go ahead run on 2nd. BAR A walked Derek Lynn and Len Tarnoff comes through with the big hit. Pete DeFrank singled for BAR A in the bottom and Parker House get a big catch in right center to end the game.
