Last Year's Man of the Hour is BACK! Dave Auerbach goes 4-4 with 2 Homers to lift the Gambino Family over La Kosher Nostra 14-10. LKN led early after picking up one run in the first after Pat McNamara and Brian Cass singled and Pat scored on an error. The Gambino's were missing their Don Mike Levine but Kay Kiele got things started with a swinging bunt single and Rob Guilbert(3-4) drove one into the pickelball courts. Dave Auerback singled in two runs and with one out Vince Wolleon(3-4)singled and scored Dave from 1st. Pitcher Brian Quinn singled the 4th run home and The Gambino's are up 4-1. LKN strikes back in the 2nd after Greg the other Auerbach(2-3) singled, Joel Orris(2-3) singled, Ken Nemeth singled and Greg Kohn singled in a run. Pat McNamara walked with the base loaded to cut the lead to 1, but again LKN ends the inning with runners on. In the 3rd LKN regains the lead after Jay Glickson singled and two of the M&M's, Mike and Max Metz both single. Patrick McNamara hits a sac fly and with two outs Joel Orris gets a run scoring single. LKN is up 7-4 but it doesn't last long. Rob Gulibert finds the courts again and Dave Auerbach follows Rob with another double, Tom Clougher, Vince Wolleon and Mike Cafaro all single to tie the score 7-7. Marty Eagan (3-4) singled to give the Gambino's the lead for good 8-7. LKN doesn't score in the 4th and the Gambino's put together a two out rally. Dave Auerbach hit's his 1st homer and after a walk, the hot Vince Wolleon hits another good shot and this time he makes it to 2nd for a double. Mike Cafaro(3-4) singled and the Gambino's are up 11-8 and go on to win 14-10
