When The Cats Away The Mice Will Play. The Rat Pack Gets 1st Win Over The Gambino Family 26-11. The Gambinos were missing their top cat Mike Levine and walked into a Rat infestation Thursday night. The Rats were all over the Gambino's in the bottom of the first inning, scoring 11 runs. The rug rats Kyle Godau and Curt Heim were back and wow what an impact they made. Kyle Godau led off with a triple and in his first swing of the season Curt Heim blasted a 2 run homer to right center. Brain Godau singled, Chris Hansen(5-5) doubled and Bob Fass singled scoring 3 more runs. Jared Bruno(4-5) doubled, Rich Heim singled in two more, Mike Bedell singled, Chris Stappas doubled in run number 7 and with one out the lineup turns over. Kyle Godau singled, Curt Heim singled, Brain Godau hits a sac fly and Chris Hansen doubles in run 11. The bright spot for the Gambino's was Dave Auerbach who homered in all 3 of his atbats and collected 6 RBI's. Bob Fass pitched for the Rat Pack and picks up his first win. Bob also picked up 6 RBI's going 3-3 with a walk. With their young blood in the lineup, the Rats were dropping hits all over the field tonight. 32 hits in one game which was the most of any team this season. They were also missing Frank Coppola who is quietly leading the league in hitting with an 800 average, John Sanzone and Bruce Dostil. Somebody better call an exterminator before these Rats infest the league. The only good thing that happend for Gambino manager Mike Levine was that the wifi was out so he didn't have to watch it, lol.
