Johnny Cakes Rises in the 7th to Shock Medigans 13-12. Trailing 12-6 in the bottom of the 7th, Johnny Cakes rallies sparked by a John Weiner leadoff triple. Paul Martino walked before Jason Rhodes and Adam Handler singled. Then following an error Sal Hakimi singled to bring up the top of the order with no outs. The bases were loaded and JC was down by 4. Matt Siekierka tried to tie it with a home but ended up with a sac fly. Lee Udin singled in another to cut the lead to two. Clay Petry walked and Ryan Goodrich singled in the tying run. Then the guy who started the rally finished it. Jon Weiner hit a game winning sac fly. Johnny Cakes get a huge win and maybe saved their season. The poor Medigans were in control all game after posting a big 6 run 1st inning that featured 6 hits and 3 errors. Jason Crimmins seemed to have the hot bat for Medigans but some scorekeeping issues need to be checked before we can post the stats. Lee Udin was 3-3 for Medigans in the loss.
