GoodFellas Earns Some Reiss-pect with 2nd 7th Inning Comeback. In a back and forth game, Goodfellas found themselves in a precarious situation in the top of the 7th. Trailing 14-12 they elected to do a double walk putting Dave Auerbach at second and Levi on first. Dave just crushed his 2nd homer in the 5th, a 3 run shot, to tie the game at 12-12. The maneuver pays off despite the abuse Jon took for the call. The next batter grounds out to end the inning and GoodFellas has their top of the order coming up in the bottom of the 7th. Jason Lew and Brad Hartung both single and now Mike Levine has to decide if he wants to pitch to Jon Cocchio as the winning runs is now at the plate. Mike decides to walk Jon and move the winning run to first. Does the move pay off?? Not this time. The next batter Derek Lynn walked in a run and then Dave Reiss drilled a game winning single down the line. Stats will be posted Monday. Enjoy the twitter videos.
