Rats Feed on Johnny Cakes 12-5. The Rat Pack was playing short handed and Mark Spotto(3-4) was subbing so it looked like this one could be a cake walk. But Johnny Cakes continues to struggle and the Rats attacked for 4 runs in the 2nd and 5 in the 4th. In the 1st Kyle Godau singled and John Sanzone walked but they didn't score. John Weiner (2-3) doubled in the bottom and scored off a 2 out single by Clay Petry(2-3). JC is up after 1 1-0. But here come the Rats. Rich Heim(3-4) singled, Bruce Dostal singled and Mike Bedell hit a sac fly to tie it. Then with 2 outs Kyle Godau singled and John Sanzone gave the Rats a lead with a single to left. Bob Fass singled to score two more. Rats are up 4-1. JC puts up one after Paul Martin and Jason Rhodes single and Jigar Desai singled in one. JC ties the score in the 3rd when John Weiner again singled with two outs, Clay Petry singled and somehow John scored. Lee Udin singled to score Clay and the game is locked 4-4. But the Rats rally off sub Mark Spotto's (3-4) single. Kyle Godau singled, Bob Fass singled, Jared Bruno singled, Brain Godau doubled, Rich Heim doubled and a fielder's choice scored the 5th run. The Rats are up 9-4 and go on to win 12-5.
