Corleone and the Killer Bees get Buzz-ellied in the Bottom of the 7th, 8-7. What a finish. Just when it looked like Corleone had this one in the hive, the bottom of the JD lineup proves they are also Dangerously. Trailing 7-5 Seth Friedman used his wheels to change this game around. He beat out an infield single when Corleone didn't cover the 1st base bag. Then out ran the throw to 2nd on a routine fielder's choice to third. So instead of two outs, nobody on,it's 1st and 2nd, no out.Now that's hustle! Both runners advanced on a fly out by Adam Steckelman and one run scored on a fielder's choice by Temple Houston. So JD is trailing by 1 with two outs and rookie Danny Giordano(2-3) is up and the entire JD team is standing. Danny and gets his biggest hit of his LVC career so far, a single to center. The throw is cut coming home and is late which tied the score at 7-7. Rick Beyer coaching first tell Danny to take 2nd base on the throw, so now JD is one hit away from a big 7th inning comeback. And who better to take down the killer bees but Eric Buzzelli. Eric hits a texas leaguer over first and Danny races home for the walkoff. Oh that's got to sting.
