The Rat Pack Party Gets Maxed Out by La Kosher Nostra 16-8. Max Metz's two homers and 6 RBI helped quiet the Rats, in what could very well be, their final team party at LVC. The Rats Guinea tee uniforms didn't seem to scare La Kosher, as they jumped out to a quick 5-1 lead after 1. In the 2nd inning Joel Orris led off with a triple, Jay Glickson doubled, Malachi Metz(4-4) singled, Brian Cass singled and Max launched his first homer of the night to put LKN up 10-1. The homer and the 3 RBIs pushed Max ahead as the leagues RBI leader. His 2 run homer in the 4th could have been a grand slam if not for some baserunning mishaps. His season total now stands at 36, but Dave Auerbach is just 4 back with one game to play. La Kosher got 3 hit from Brian Cass(3-3) and 4 from Malachi Metz(4-4) who is now the leagues hottest hitter with a 909 3 game average. The Rat Pack was paced by Bob Fass and Jared Bruno who were both 3-4. Bruce Dostal was 2-2 with 2 sacs that pushes his 3 game average to 889. The highlight of the night had to be Frank Coppola's custom horse trailer/party wagon complete with a beer tap, beach umbrella, a flat screen and plenty of speakers.
