Mark Spotto's 2 Triples and 3 RBIs Lift Corleone to 3rd Regular Season Win. It's hard to imagine but the Wolford Cup champs only reached their 3 win of the regular season tonight, defeating Johnny Cakes 10-4. Johnny Cakes had too many cooks in the kitchen tonight batting 13. They had plenty of baserunners all game, but they had trouble crossing the plate. Twice they had runners thrown out at home. The last one was the final out of the game when David Plishka gunned down Marshall Baines. Dave Plishka was 2-3 with 2 walks, Ken O'Brien was 3-3 and Keith Blicht was 3-4 in the win. For Johnny Cakes John Weiner, Clay Petry, Jason Rhodes and Paul Martino were all 2-3 while John Boeckel was 3-3. Corleone only out hit JC 19-17.
