The Irish Lock in the One Seed with a 17-9 win over Johnny Dangerously in the Double Header. Calvin Kwock collects 5 RBIs going 4-4 for the game. This game started with some controversy so get right into it. Ralph Fariello(5-5) singled and with one out Don Trifari walked. Ralph Aiello grounded to 3rd and Joe Giordano tried to tag the runner going to 3rd. But Ralph stopped and avoided the tag, Joe threw to 2nd and the ball got away. So initially the umpire called Ralph out but realized he didn't get tagged. Then there was talk that Ralph was out of the baseline. With only one out Calvin Kwock hits a sac fly and Jim Morris follows with an RBI single. Irish are up 2-0. Johnny D comes up with 2 in the bottom after Jason Davis(3-4) singled, Barry Davis singled and Joe Giordano singled to load the bases. Rick Beyer hits a sac fly and another run scored on a single by Ryan Coletti. It's 2-2 after one. Johnny D takes the lead in the 2nd on singles by Danny Giordano, Temple Houston(2-3), Adam Steckelman and Kevin Jr. Seth Friedman hit a sac fly and Johnny D is up 5-2. The Irish storm back in the 3rd after Ralph Fariello singled, an error and an RBI single by Don Trifari. Ralph Aiello walked and Calvin Kwock makes that batting practice pay off with a big 2 run single to tie the game. Another run scored on a fielder's choice by Alex Lieberman and the Irish are up 6-5. The Irish find the gold in the 5th after Ralph Aiello led off with a double and Calvin Kwock crushed another single. Jim Morris singled in the 1st run and Matt Shupack singled in another. John Deluca singled in a 3rd run and with two outs the Irish turnover their order. Ralph Fariello singled in two more and Ryan Smith doubled off the fence to give the Irish a 13-5 lead. They hang on to win 17-9 and secure the one seed in the playoffs with a 12-2 record. Live Lucky!! For the double header Ralph Fariello was an amazing 9-9.
