Corleone's 9 Player Lineup Does it Again with 20-7 Hit on the Gambino Family. Corleone has now won it's 5th straight game and they have been playing with 9 players most of the year. Dave Plishka and the rest of the outfielders have been doing a great job covering the gaps and throwing runners out. Today Corleone gunned down 4 baserunner including the last out of the game at home plate. Dave Plishka was 4-4 with 3 RBIs, Nick Catanese was 5-6, Chris Capobianco was 4-5, and Mark Spotto and Ken O'Brien were 4-6 in the slug fest. The Gambinos are now pretty much eliminated from the playoffs and are going to finish the season as the spoilers while Corleone has risen from the bottom of the pack to possibly have a chance for a 2nd place seed. Dave Auerbach is the one bright spot for the Gambinos with another 3-3 game plus a 3 run homer as he keeps taking over more space on the leader board.
