Game Highlights

Bacon Fries the Goats 18-0 in the first game of the double header. Time to Add Some Bacon grease to the Playoffs as Macon clinches. This one was a team effort with every Bacon batter getting at least one hit. Jon Cocchio(3-4) added another homer in the 1st inning and is now just one shy of the leader. Macon plated 2 in the first on the Cocchio homer, then poured on the grease in the 3rd with 11 runs on 12 hits. Ken O'Brien, Jason Crimmins, Brian Guatta, Matt Eisenberger and Ralph Aiello all had 3 hits each in the mercy. The Goats only had 7 hits and Ralph Avallone had 3 of them going 3-3. Eric Stivers was 2-3 and 5 Goats did not reach safely once but hey, the music was great. With the win Macon gets to 10 wins and clinches a playoff spot. Now they must hang around to play a makeup game against the Rail Riders to need a win themselves to make it to the big dance.
