Bananas Slip in the 6th as the Goats Kilt their Way Back 4-2. The Bananas jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after Ryan Coletti singled and advanced on a throwing error. Then scored on a sac fly by John Sanzone. They pick up one more in the 3rd when rookie Kevin Rosin doubled, Jason Hamberger singled and Ryan Coletti singled to score Kevin. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd the top of the Bananas order failed to score more. That left the door open for the Goats and young buck Christian Hansen(2-3) put the Goats on the board with a solo homer. The Bannana bats went cold and in the bottom of the 6th the Goats leadoff batter Tony Garrett, who loves bananas, got things started with a one out single. Dave Schachman singled, Ralph Avallon doubled to tie the game and Chris Mazur singled to put the Goats up 4-2. The Bananas fall again in the final inning and drop to 0-2 while the Goats are tie for 1st with a 2-0 start.
