Trash Pandas Finally Play again and Milk the Goats with 10 Runs in the 7th. It was another good back and forth game. The Pandas jumped up to a 5-0 lead in the third on hits from Tom Clougher, Rob Guilbert and a fielder's choice bloop near first by Brad Bennis that Dave Schachman fielded and tagged Brad so said the ump. They grab some more runs in the 2nd when Deron Green singled, Jacob Lieberman singled and Adam Handler walked to load the bases with one out. Jake Spielberger singled and two runs scored, Trash is up 4-0, they add one more in the 3rd after Rob Guilbert muscles one into the tennis courts and scored on another single by Deron Green. The Goats finally get out to pasture in the 3rd, trailing 5-0 Tony Garrett(4-5) who loves his banana song, singled to right, Dave Schachman(4-4) singled and so does Ryan Goodrich and Ralph Avallone to score the 1st run. Fred Heismeyer singled in a second run and Trash is up 5-2. Pandas don't score in the 4th and the Goats tie the game. With two outs Bob Fass(4-5) singled, followed by singles from Tony Garrett, Dave Schachman, Ryan Goodrich and a 2 RBI single by Ralph Avallone. We are tie 5-5. Neither team scores in the 5th. In the 6th both teams get 1 run with Trash getting an RBI single from Shaun Spielberger and the Goats scoring on a double by Bob Fass and Dave Schachman singled him in. So it's on to the 7th tied 6-6. Brad Bennis, who was struggling on the night, leads off with a deep single. Rob Guilbert walked and John Speilberger singled to load the bases. Deron Green singled to put the Pandas up by one and we are just getting started. Jacob Lieberman hits a sac fly, Hadar singled in the 3rd run and with two outs Adam Handler singled. Jake Spielberger singled in the 4th run, Shaun Spielberger worked his 3rd walk of the game, Tom Clougher singled in the 6th run and with bases loaded Brad Bennis blasts a grand slam. A rare homer off Dave Schachman to give the Pandas a big 10 run lead. The Goats fight back with 6 runs but drop this game 16-10. Interestingly both teams had 22 hits but the Pandas win without Ryan Smith and improve their record to 2-1 on the season.
