Game Highlights

It Didn't Look Good From Wisconsin. Macon's Jay Crimmins walk off triple keeps the Yard Goats playoff hopes alive. Savanna Pitcher Jon Mach was out of town, watching this one from Wisconsin and it seemed that the short handed Bananas were going to slip into the playoffs playing with 3 subs and Mark Spoto as a sub pitcher. Not. Jason Crimmins and the Bacon bits had other plans after trailing 8-3 in the bottom of the 6th. Mr hustle Ken O'Brien(2-3) singled to start the 6th and after an error Jason Crimmins(3-4) and Steve Deblasio(3-3) hit back to back doubles. Mark Armelino singled and Danny Fariello(2-3) singled in Steve. Matt Eisenberger(2-2) who had some nice plays at first base, hit a sac fly and so did Chris Armelino which tied the game at 8. Savanna's super subs Mal Metz and Ryan Smith both single in the top of the 7th. Jason Hamberger(3-3) who came late, singled in a run and Ryan Coletti sacked in another. It could have been worse except for the outfield plays by Jason Crimmins. Trailing by 2 with one out Ralph Aiello singled. Mark Spoto's only walk to Ken O'Brien. Then Jonathan Cocchio singled down the line scoring Ralph. With runners on 1st and 2nd Jason Crimmins walk off triple to right center no doubt caused a Mac attack in Wisconsin. Savanna gets another chance on Monday against the waning Patriots who are promised some Goat cheese if they can pull off the upset.
