Martini's Run Dry In the Bottom of the 7th. The Martini's were flowing in the first two innings as they jump out to a 6-2 lead. Bruce Dostal's two out single in the 1st was followed by a double by Frank McNally then a 2 RBI single by Bob Fass. Bada Bing picked up two in the top of the 2nd when Ed Russnow singled, followed by an error moving Ed to third, then Jared Kruger(3-3) sacked Ed home. Then Hadar Sieradzky singled and another run scored off a single by Rich Huebner. In the bottom of the 2nd Frank Coppola singled, Alex Fass tripled in a run, New Guy Michael Bedell singled in Alex, Rich Heim Singled, Chris Stappas doubled in two runs and the Martini party was shaking up 6-2. Bada Bing picked up one run in the 3rd when Len Tarnoff doubled and scored on an error. Martini's are too busy fixing drinks to score in the 3rd. In the 4th the Bing is back when Jared Kruger leads off with a double, two errors follow, then with two outs Rick Beyer doubles and Bing, Len Tarnoff homers in two. Ed Russnow follows with a triple but doesn't score. Bing is up 8-6. The Martini's pack a little punch of their own when Bob Fass reached by error and Jared Bruno homers to tie it 8-8. Bing goes up again in the 5th when Brian Quinn and Jared Kruger both singled, an error allows one run to score and Al Puleo sacs in the other, Bing is back up 10-8. The Martini's go ice cold in the 5th and 6th only managing a double by John Sanzone while Bada Bing puts up 4 in the top of the 7th when Jared Kruger and Hadar both single, an error then a two RBI single by Al Puleo, single by Jim Halpin and sac fly by Rick Beyer give Bing a 14-8 lead. The Martini's make it close when Frank McNally and Bob Fass single, bartender Christian Hansen blooped a run scoring single over short. Then Franky flip flops pleases the party crowd with a 3 run dinger bringing the Martini's within 2. But the next two batter make outs and Bada Bing spoils the Martini's party "well maybe not" with a 14-12 loss.
