Beagles Win on All Fours. The Beagles use some timly hitting to put up a pair of fours. Four runs in the 2nd and four more in the 4th to defeat Peach Pit 8-4. Both Peach Pit and the Beagles each had 13 team hits. The Beagles got off to a slow start going down 1,2,3 in the 1st, however in the 2nd Mike Metz(2-3), Lou Coppa(2-3), Dave Richmond, Josh Simon(2-3), Cliff Berliner(2-3) and Ron Liebowitz combined for 6 straight hits, the big blow was Dave Richmond's 2 RBI triple. In the 4th Mike Metz homered, Lou Coppa singled and with two outs Cliff Berliner produces a clutch RBI single, Ron Liebowitz (2-2) doubles and Abe Heller singled in two more runs. For Peach Pit Brian Koonjy was 2-4 with a double and triple and Chris Walsifer was 3-4 with 2 RBI's.
