Moe's Bottom is Tops as Sottile, Kohn and Mug go 10-12 with 6 RBI's In a seesaw battle, with 7 lead changes, MacLaren's watched their 1 run lead disappear in the 7th as Moe's rallies for 6 runs to win 15-10. RJ Leonard got things started for Moe's with a double in the 1st inning, Ryan Smith singled and Mark Spotto singled to score RJ. Moe's leads 1-0. MacLarens answers back as Jonathan Drillings singled, Marty Eagan singled and Lance Zacker sacs in a run. Then Seth Friedman(4-4) singles in a second run and Maclaren's is up 2-1. In the 2nd with two out James Morris reaches on an error and Dean Sottile(4-4) doubles scoring James. Greg Kohn(3-1) also doubles scoring Dean and Mug Naveendra singles moving Greg to third. RJ Leonard doubles again scoring Greg and Mug is thrown out at home trying to score. Moes leads 4-2. In the bottom of the 3rd MacLaren's ties it up when Gary Drillings leads off with a single, Lance Zacker doubles in Gary, Seth Friedman singles in Lance to tie it 4-4. MacLaren's takes the lead in the 4th when sub Jared Citron triples, Jonathan Drillings knock him in with a single, Maclaren's is up 5-4. Moe's bottom does it again in the 5th when Dean Sottile leads off with a single, Greg Kohn singles then Bam! Mug Naveendra triples to score Dean and Greg. Then Joe Gianforte singles in Mug and Ryan Smith singles in another run, Moe's leads 8-5. MacLaren's puts up 2 in the bottom when Seth Friedman singles, Kevin Zabransky singles, Chris Capobianco singles to load the bases. Kevin Jr singles in a run, Jonathan Drillings singles in another and Kevin Jr get thrown out trying to score. Moe's lead is cut to 8-7. Moe's bottom puts up another run in the 6th as Jim Morris(3-4) singled, James Morris singled and Dean Sottile does it again with a run scoring single, Moe's is up 9-7. MacLaren's takes advantage of two errors and after a Lance Zacker sac fly Seth Friedman triples in a run and Kevin Zabransky singles in Seth. MacLaren's is back up 10-9. Needing a run to stay alive Moe's Joe Gianforte singles, Ryan Smith singles, Mark Spotto singles to tie the game. Wally Kamienski singles in two more, Jim Morris singles and James Morris hits a clutch two out, 2 run single. Dean Sottile keeps it going with a single and Greg Kohn singles to give Moe's a 5 run lead 15-10. Moe's holds on to win. RJ Leonard, Ryan Smith, Jim Morris, Greg Kohn an Mug Naveendra all had 3 hits for Moes and Dean Sottile was a perfect 4-4. For MacLaren's Seth Friedman was 4-4 with 3 RBI's and Jonathan Drillings was 4-5 in the loss.
