A Bada Play and then a Bing.. Trailing 4-3 Bada Bing rallies in the top of the 7th to take a 3 run lead. In the bottom of the 7th Jim Halpin's diving stop in the hole preserves the win for Bada Bing 7-5. Neither team scored in the 1st inning. In the 2nd Bada Bing gets on the board when Ed Russnow led off with a single, Jared Kruger singled, then with two outs Rob Huebner doubles to right center scoring two. Moe's fails to score in the bottom of the 2nd. In the third Rick Beyer doubles but doesn't score and Moe's bottom of the order comes thru. Dave Vaiser singled and Greg Kohn triples, then Matt Eisenberg singles in Greg to tie the score 2-2. In the 4th Bada Bing puts up another when Hadar Sieradzky singled and again Rob Huebner doubles in a run. The lead doesn't last as Moe's RJ Leonard leads off with a triple and scores on a bad throw to tie the game again 3-3. Bada Bing doesn't score in the 5th and Moe's takes the lead when Wally Kamienski singled, Dave Kaiser singled and Mug Naveendra singled in Wally to gives Moe's a 4-3 lead. Neither team scores in the 6th so it's the top of the 7th and Bada Bing needs at least one run. Henry Russnow gets a big lead off single and Rob Huebner comes thru again, this time with a single and Bada Bing's sub, batting his opposite with a wooden bat walks to load the bases. Al Puleo wastes no time tying the game with a sac fly. The next batter grounds out to the pitcher so with two outs Rick Beyer comes thru with a single scoring two, Ed Russnow singles in another and Jared Kruger singles and Bada Bing is up 7-4. In the bottom of the 7th Moe's RJ Leonard leads off with a single, Jim Morris singles over the right fielder's head and then a "bada" throw draws Rob Huebner off second, scoring a run and Moe's has 1st and 2nd, no outs trailing by 2 with their 4th batter coming up. Rick Beyer makes a nice play at third to get the first out, then the play of the game, Ben Gabriel hits a ball in the hole and short stop Jim Halpin dive and throws the runner out at third from his knees. The next batter flys out and Bada Bing completes the comeback. Rob Huebner was double trouble for Moe's today with two doubles and a single going 3-3 with 3 RBI's. For Moe's Dave Kaiser was 2-2 and RJ Leonard and Jim Morris were both 2-3.
