JC and the Koonjy's Lead Pit to the Finals with 7-5 win. Jason Crimmins and the Koonjy family accounted for 10 of Peach Pits 14 hits as the Pit holds on in the 7th. The Pit scored first when Jason Crimmins doubled with two outs and Brian Koonjy singled to score him, Peach Pit 1-0. No scores in the 2nd. Pit extends their lead in the 3rd when Mike Koonjy doubled and scored on another double by Jason Crimmins who scored on another double by Brian Koonjy and Pit is up 3-0. Alibi finally gets on the board in the bottom of the 4th when Alex Lieberman singled, Jason Abfier walks, Brian Cass singles to score Alibi's first run. Mike Citron hits a sac fly and after an error Adam Steckelman singles to score Brian but Jeff Brooks is gunned out at the plate and the score is tied 3-3. In the top of the 6th the Pit takes the lead back when Brian Koonjy singled and scored on a single by brother Chris Koonjy, Pit leds 4-3. In the top of the 7th Pit gets some insurance runs when Ken Crimmins led off with a single, Mike Koonjy singles, Tony Garrett singles to load the bases with one out. Jason Crimmins singles to score a run, Brian Koonjy gets a sac fly and Chris Walsifer singled to give Pit a 7-3 lead. Alibi has one shot left and gets close. Jason Abfier reaches on error and with one out Mike Citron singled, Jeff Brooks singles to load the bases. Adam Steckelman(2-3) singles to score two and Alibi is only down by two with the tying run at first and one out. But the next two batter make outs and the Pit takes it 7-5 and advances to the finals to play the Playaz Club.
