Lee Kornbluh's 7th Inning Double Knocks the Shish Out of a Kabab Upset. Kabab Paradise was just 2 outs away from their first win but ended up on the short end of the stick. This time it was the bottom of the Olde Towne lineup that really stuck it to them. Seth Mendelson was a mere 5-5 and Lee Kornbluh was 3-4 with 3 RBI's. With the game tied 15-15 in the top of the 7th and one out, Seth Mendelson singles by short to score two and next up Lee Kornbluh blasts a double over the left fielder's head to break the game open. Kabab fought back in the bottom of the 7th to score one and load the bases, but a foul out ended the game with the tying run at the plate. Each team ended up with 25 hits. Dave Auerbach led Kabab with two homers and 8 of their 15 RBI's while Frank McNally was 5-5. Pete DeFrank and Ralph Fariello had 4 hits for Olde Towne and Chris Stappas collected 5 RBI's in this 9 vs 9 battle.
