Ricky Beyer's Double Espresso Lifts Columbia Inn to First Win 11-5. Rick Beyers back to back doubles help kick start the winless Columbians. With their new lineup Jonathan Drillings (3-4) got things brewing with a single, the speedy Mike Cobuzio reached on error and with one out Ricky Beyer doubled to score Jonathan. Wally Kamienski sacked in Mike and Columbian is up 2-0. Red Barn cuts into the lead when Mike Koonjy singled, Austin Tarlowe singled, Brian Koonjy is walked to load the bases for Nick Adams who singles in one, but two fly outs end the threat. Columbia Inn leads 2-1. Neither team scores in the 2nd. Columbia's Jason Dickert led off the 3rd with a single, Jonathan Drillings singles and both runners move up on a deep fly. With one out David Drillings singles scoring two runs. Then Ricky Double Expresso Beyer hits his second double scoring David. Ricky scores on an error, Columbia is up 6-1. But the roosters start crowing and Red Barn wakes up to match those 4 runs. Hadar singled and with two outs Austin Tarlowe rips a deep doubled into the courts, Jim Halpin follows with a two run single then Brian Koonjy responds with a two run homerun, Columbia is still up 6-5. Neither team scored in the 4th. In the top of the 5th Kevin Jr singled and with one out Jonathan Drillings singles for the 3rd time. Mike Cobuzio singled and David Drillings walks to score a run. Ricky Beyer tries to go deep but ends up with a sac fly extending Columbia Inns lead to 8-5. Red Barn looks like they are ready to rally in the bottom when Hadar and Jake Tarnoff both single but a double play ends the threat. In the 7th Columbia gets some insurance runs when both Zabransky's single, Jason Dickert singles (2-3) and with two outs Mike Cobuzio hits a run scoring single. Then David Drillings singles to score two more and Columbia puts the Red Barn out to pasture with their first win 11-5.
