Michael Angelo's Carves Out an Impressive Win 21-7. Michael Angelo's 15 player lineup combined for 28 hits and 21 runs to upset 2nd place Harrigan's. Rich Citron and newly aquired Keith Blicht both singled in the 1st and with two outs Bob Plishka singles to drive home the first run. Then Dave Plishka singled to give Angelo's a 3-0 first inning lead. Harrigans picked up just one in the bottom when the hot Brad Bennis launched a solo homer. Harrigan's wouldn't score again till the 6th as Jon Mach was lights out, allowing only 9 hits on the day. Meanwhile Michael Angelo's continued to chip away, adding a single run in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th inning before breaking the game open with 9 runs in the 6th. 4 of Angleo's players had 3 hits including Jeff Axelrad(3-4), Keith Blicht(3-4), Jason Abfier(3-4) and manager Mike Citron who was a perfect(3-3) and all smiles after this one. David Plishka(2-3) picked up 5 RBI's on the day. For Harrigan's 1/3 of their hits came from Ed Russnow who was 3-4.
