The Station Cranks Up an Oldie 16-6. The Station jumped out to an early 10-0 lead after Jim Morris singled, Jared Kruger(2-3) walked, Don Trifari Jr (3-3) doubled scoring one, Don Sr hit a sac fly, another run scored on an infield out before Marty Eagan(3-4) singled, Ralph Aiello singled and manager Dave Richmond singled in the 4th run. Olde Towne didn't score in the bottom and The Station added 6 more after Mike Levine singled, rookie Matt Reynders singled in his first LVC atbat, Jim Morris singled scoring one, Jared Kruger singled to load the bases for Don Jr who launches a towering shot that landed in the 2nd court for a grand slam. Better move those cars as on ball bounced over the fence and hit a windshield. Don Sr doubled, Lance Zacker(3-4) singled and with two outs Ralph Aiello singled in Don Sr and the Station is up 10-0. But Olde Towne manages to cross one run in the 3rd when Barry Davis, playing in his first game with his son Jason, singled, Seth Mendelson(3-3) singled and Barry scored on a fielder's choice. The Station looses it's signal for a few innings and things start to get a bit tight in the 5th. Seth Mendelson singled and Jason Davis also singled, then with two outs and a full count on Mike Metz, Mike pulls an inside pitch down the line for a line drive home run. The Station is still up 10-4. With one out in the top of the 6th Jim Morris singled, Jared Kruger singled and Old Town intentionally walks Don Jr to load the bases. Don Sr singled scoring two, Lance Zacker singled in another, Marty Eagan singled in another and Dave Richmond doubled in another and the Station cranks up the volume 16-4. Olde Towne manages 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th but that's all as the Station evens out their record to 3-3 with the win.
