Battle of the Bricks. Puleo's Brick Oven brought the firepower and smoked Brick 46 15-3. Mark Spotto served up 2 triples and 5 RBI's while RJ Leonard strikes for his 2nd homerun of the season. Puleo's delivered 4 runs in the 1st inning when Chuck Puleo and Eric Rosenberg both singled and scored on a triple by Mark Spotto, Joe Giordano singles home Mark, Al Puleo follows with a single and RJ Leonard singles in run number 4. Brick's Lou Coppa sparked a fire in the 2nd when he led off with a single and scored on a double by Ken O'Brien. Matt Eisenberg tripled to score Ken and Seth Friedman followed with a run scoring single. Puleo's is up 4-3. Puleo's Vince Wolleon starts the 2nd with a single, Cliff Neukrug singled and after an out Eric Rosenberg(3-4) singled to score Vince. Mark hits the spot again for another 2 RBI triple, Al Puleo singled and with two outs Joe Orris singled and Dave Kaiser knock in a 5th run with a single and Puleo's is up 9-3. Brick 46's oven goes out and Puleo's breaks the game open in the 5th when Al Puleo doubled with bases loaded and 2 outs, scoring all three runners. RJ Leonard follows that with a blast over the left field fence and Puleo's moves up to 2nd place in the standings with a 5-2 record.
