Mini "Z" Powers The Inn for a Win 8-5. This game got off to a slow start as neither team scored until the 3rd inning. Gary Drillings proved that white men can jump as he snagged Joe Gianforte's line drive in the first inning. In the bottom of the 3rd Kevin Zabransky singled, Ken Nemeth singled and Kevin Zabransky Jr (Mini Z) surprised everyone with a triple to center scoring the games first runs. Jonathan Drillings sacked in Jr, Mike Cobuzio singled and Rick Beyer delivered a two out single to score Mike. Columbia Inn is up 4-0. Harrigians was playing with only 7 starters and 2 subs but they did manage to score in the 4th after Brad Bennis singled, Ed Russnow(3-4) singled, Alex Lieberman singled and Tony Garrett picks up the RBI with a sac fly to left. Then some controversy erupts when Ed Russnow gets gunned down by David Drillings on a very close play at home. Columbia is up 4-1. They pad their lead in the 4th and 5th innings after Eamon Loughran singled and scored on a double by Kevin Zabransky Sr who scored on a throwing error. Then in the 5th Mike Cobuzio singled and scored on a double by Rick Beyer. Rick scored on a single by Gary Drillings for an 8-1 lead. Harrigan's makes it close in the top of the 7th when Deron Green singled, a sub finally gets on, Ralph Avallone singled to load the bases for Joe Gianforte who singles in two runs. Brad Bennis is walked and the hot Ed Russnow singled in Ralph. Alex Lieberman sacs in the 4th run, cutting Columbia's lead to 3 but the rally dies and Columbia Inn wins its 4th straight, 8-5.
