The Inn is Hot and Kabab is Not (well almost). Columbia Inn comes in with a league best 4 game winning streak and Kabab is still looking for their first win. Jeff Brooks is in the Kabab lineup tonight and things get close in the 3rd. The Columbian is perking in the 1st with 8 hits and 7 runs. Singles by Jonathan Drillings and Mike Cobuzio get things brewing and big Ricky Beyer pours out a two run double to right. Wally Kamienski singled and another double, this time by Gary Drillings also to right. Mark Fedele says I can match that and doubles in two more runs. Eamon Loughran singles and Kevin Zabransky scores another on a fielder's choice. Kevin Jr gets the last run in with an on by error and Columbia is up 7-0. Kabab's much need shortstop Jeff Brooks(4-4) leads off the 2nd with a single and scores after Ben Gabriel doubled and Bob Vogt singled. Columbia seemed to be out of beans as they fail to score again till the 5th. Kabab rallies in the 3rd to tie it after Adam Raiken singled, Greg Kohn reached on error, Brian Uhl singled to score Adam. Then Dave Auerbach launched a 3 run shot waking up the Kabab fans. Frank McNally singled, Jeff Brooks singled, Ben Gabriel(3-4) singles to load the bases for Bob Vogt who reaches on error scoring Frank and Jeff and tying the game at 7. Kabab has a huge opportunity in the 4th when Adam Raiken singles again and Greg Kohn gets on by error again but the Kabab does not deliver and Columbia perks up again in the 5th. Top of the order and Jonathan Drillings walks, Mike Cobuzio singles down the line, Dave Drillings drills a liner to right to score Jonathan, Rick Beyer sacs in a run and Columbia is up 10-7. They add one more when Kevin Jr doubled in the 6th and hang on to finish off the Kabab's 11-8. Columbia has now moved up from last place to 4th in the standings with the win.
