The Station Tunes In Some Morris Code with 12-5 Win./strong> The Station shuffled their lineup but came out flat as a Don Trifari Jr(4-4) solo homerun was their only 1st inning score. Brick fired back after rookie Jared Bornstein walked, Ryan Smith doubled in the courts, Dave Bornstein sacked in his son Jared, Lou Coppa(2-3) singled in Ryan and Mike Carver singled off the shortstops glove* to score Lou. Brick is up 3-1. Both teams took a scoring break till the 4 inning when Don Jr singled, Don Sr(2-3) triple him in, Ralph Aiello singled in Sr, Jared Kruger(2-3) singled and the hot Jim Morris(4-4) with 4 RBI's singled to score Ralph to give the Station a 4-3 lead. Brick fails to score in the bottom and The Station finally gets some good reception. Rookie Matt Reynerds(2-3) got the signal going with a lead off the single, Marty Eagan singled, Don Jr laced a double that just cleard the antenna down the line. Don Sr was intentionally walked before Ralph Aiello ripped a fielder's choice (ok it was just a grounder) but it scored two more runs. Jared Kruger tripled and Jim Morris coded a two out single to score Jared. The Station is up 9-3. Jared Kruger tried to chase down a Dave Bornstein looper down the right field line and came up lame with a knee injury. He was able to walk off on his own power but said he felt a pop so we are all hoping for the best. The Station can't afford to lose Jared who has been playing a solid outfield and is batting over 500. Lou Coppa drives a ball deep that Ralph Aiello catches against the fence to sac in Dave. The Station is up 9-4. In the 7th the Station makes some more noise after Don Jr and Sr both single and Jim Morris doubles them both in. With two outs the hot Mike Levine(3-4) singled to score Jim. Mike just missed a 4-4 night after a great scope by Lou Coppa in the 5th. Brick gets singles from Lou Coppa and Matt Eisenberg(3-4) before Mike Carver singled to score a run but that was all.
