Harrigan's New Menu Goes Green Deron Green's (3-3) leadoff single in the top of the 7th sparked a 5 run inning after Olde Towne fought back to tie the game 13-13 in the 5th. Harrigan's shuffled their menu after Saturday's 12 hit loss and it pays off as the top of the order produced 11 big runs. Old Towne jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first when Greg George singled, Barry Davis singled and Mike Metz blasted his 8th home run of the season. With two outs Malachi Metz reached on error and Pete DeFrank singled scoring another run. Jason Davis follows with an RBI double and Brett Hartman singles in the 6th run. Harrigan's brings back the beef in the 2nd when Brad Bennis led off with a double and scored on Joe Gianforte's single. Tony Garrett singled in Joe and with two outs their new Green menu pays off. Dave Manheim singled in 1, Ben Alkin walked and then a big blow by Deron Green scores two and brings Harrigan's within one. Dave Schachman singled, Ed Russnow ties it with a single, Ralph Avallone walk in a run, then Brad Bennis who started the rally and Brad delivers a big grand slam putting Harrigans up by 5. Joe Gianforte singled, Alex Lieberman singled and Tony Garrett singled to load the bases for Brian Quinn who singled scoring two more. Harrigans goes up 13-6 and won't score again till the 7th. Meanwhile Old Town's goes flat after Seth Mendelson led off the bottom of the 2nd with a single but the next batter hits into a double play. Neither team scored in the 3rd. Olde Towne shows some heart in the 4th after Pete DeFrank singled and scored on a double by Brett Hartman. Harrigan's is still up big 13-7 but nothing is cooking in their kitchen. Lee Kornbluh is back and reached on error in the 5th. Greg George singled, Barry Davis singled, Ralph Fariello singled in a run and Josh Simon follow with a two run single. Malachi Metz knockwurst's in another run and Pete DeFrank brings Olde Towne within one with a single up the middle. Brett Hartman sacs in the tying run, were deadlocked 13-13 and Harrigan's kitchen has been quiet for 4 innings. Manager Deron Green wasn't about to watch his team drop their 4th straight game goes Green with a leadoff single to start the 7th. Dave Schachman(2-3) singled up the middle and Ed Russnow singled to load the bases with no outs. Ralph Avallone(2-3) triples to right center to put Harrigan's up by 3, Brad Bennis sacs him in and Joe Gianforte triples himself, also to right center. Alex Lieberman sacs in Joe for a 18-13 lead. Olde Towne get a single by Ralph Fariello, double by Mike Metz, rbi single by Josh Simon and things get interesting when Malachi Metz singles in the 2nd run. So it's one out and the tying run is up but Harrigan's turns a double play to end it 18-15.
